ONLINE LEARNING

Definition: Online Learning is using the internet to get an education instead of being in a classroom. It helps students who don't learn well, such as people who are dyslexic or who have other learning disabilities. It is an option for students who wish to learn in their own enviornment using technology and/or the Internet.

Use in Education: Online learning allows students to experience interactive assignments, chats, and blogging. This enhances learning ability and gives students more information at a faster rate. It also allows students to be able to do class work on their own time and at their own speed. Students who take online courses have equal, if not greater, test scores than those who learn in a classroom.
